Vicki Reel - Froggies 2/3's

Hello, my name is Vicki Reel and I am the teacher in the 2/3 Froggies class. I am very excited about the opportunity to learn, laugh and play with the children and parents at Parkview! As a co-op parent it was always the highlight of my week to come to class. Being able to watch the children grow, learn, interact and play was a truly magical part of my life. I was fortunate enough to be elected to my co-op's vice presidency where I could share my opinions and ideas with other active and caring parents. My Husband and two little daughters, Adrianna and Athena are the center of my world and watching  my girls develop in a co-op environment made me a true believer in the value and importance of the program. You can be rest assured that my new little friends in the Froggies class will be loved, nurtured and cared for every second we are together.

I love museums, bookstores, parks, gardening, clothlines, rainstorms, family walks, hugs, and smiling faces. I am part of a lucky group who can get down on our knees, get play dough under our nails, paint in our hair and see the world through the eyes of a child, and it sure is beautiful!

Linda Costlow - Turtles 3/4's

Hello, my name is Linda Costlow. I am the 3/4's Turtles class teacher and lead teacher at Parkview Cooperative Preschool. This is my 9th year teaching at Parkview. Along with my Turtles class, I co-teach the Kindergarten enrichment class on Mondays and the extended day program on Wednesdays. I have a BS and MA degree in Consumer and Family Science from Ball State University. I am a former girl scout leader and am active at my church, Tabernacle Presbyterian. When I am not planning an activity for my class I enjoy cooking, quilting, gardening, fishing, or taking in a movie with my husband. We will celebrate our 30th anniversary this year.

I have 3 children and a sweet daughter in law, Annie. My oldest son, Kyle graduated from and met his wife at IUPUI. He is also an IPS Broad Ripple H.S. and Parkview graduate. Kyle is known around Parkview as the “Lizard man” as he brings in his variety of animals to the Bunny Hop each year. Our daughter, Caryn, works part time and runs her own babysitting business.  She is preparing to return to the mission field in the near future. Caryn is also a BRHS and Parkview graduate.  My youngest son, Craig, is freshman at Herron H.S. He is a boy scout and is active in the TAB youth group.

Parkview has always held a special place in my heart and I cherish the memories I have of my children attending school here. They adored Parkview. I have met some of my closest and dearest friends here. One of the best parts of being involved in a cooperative preschool is the interaction between parents, teachers, and the children. It is a very warm, loving, and supportive community. I feel very blessed to be able to be a part of it. I hope you will stop in and see us sometime. Come and play!!

Virginia Snell - Caterpillars 4/5's

Hello, my name is Virginia Snell and I am the Caterpillars teacher at Parkview.  I've worked as a preschool teacher many years ago and have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed. I've felt very welcomed by the parents and teachers at Parkview and am excited about combining the play-based daily curriculum with a more focused Monday Kindergarten readiness program and fun Wednesday enrichment day.

My own daughter, Melanie will be entering Kindergarten after 3 years in Co-op.  While I was a Co-op parent, I held positions in Membership and as Board President.  Co-op was a great way to get to know and work with other parents and my daughter's playmates.  Melanie and I both looked forward to the time I spent with her in the classroom.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, and reading fiction. While I've appreciated my time as a stay-at-home parent, I now look forward to creating fun, engaging, social and learning experiences with your children at this magical age. I know this year will be a wonderful one as we all participate in helping our caterpillars turn into butterflies.
